What We Need to Know Before We Buy PVC Fittings?
Fluid Conditions
Different media different temperatures for the pipelines,we will suggest customers use different materials.For example,if the media is ambient water,then UPVC pipes and fittings is absolutely ok. But if the media is hot water more than 60℃,then CPVC material will be suitable.
Pipe Size
Pipes will be socketed into fittings like elbows,couplings or tees,so firstly we need to know the pipe size and then choose fittings with relative size.
Working Pressure
Before we purchase the fittings,we have to know the working pressure for the whole pipeline.It is important to choose a fitting with the appropriate pressure rating to ensure safety and avoid any potential failures or leaks.
Connection Method
There are 2 joint methods for pvc pipes and fittings. First,for slip socket end pipes and fittings, we will use professional primer and solvent cement for connection.Second,for rubber ring joint pipes,we just need to socket pipes to the rubber ring socket end without cement. So before the purchase,we need to know which joint method is applicable for the pipeline.

The size of fittings is correspondent with pipes.Normally for pipes,we will check the outer diameter.But for fittings,we need to check the inner diameter of fittings.As pipes will be socketed into fittings,so the mouth inner diameter of fittings will be closer but little more than outer diameter of pipes.
